Description

Here is a project that I want to come back to later.  I have two images off the exact same SER video file.  One image, the alignment boxes are small, 32px.  The second, they are large, 150px. The camera is an ASI585MC, set to capture in Mono8.  I have an weird tilt in the system generating the brighter blotch on the solar disk, will need to work on that.  Settings for the Solar Toolbox and Astrosurface are included to jog my memory when I come back.

I do not see any real difference here.  Then again, with a 40mm objective, there may not BE a difference.  I have plans for lunar and planetary imaging if I get good skies and time off work, so I will re-run this excitement with a bigger telescope.  As of now, at least in this case, the larger alignment boxes are good enough and do not take out any details of the smaller sunspots, or the proms.
